Bistro Niko is a nod to Paris, right in the heart of Buckhead. The modern French fare is authentic & simple, while the affordably priced wine list, exciting cocktails and extensive craft beer list ensure that everyone finds something to suit their tastes. GREAT experience and French food/wine! Very busy, lively atmosphere with super nice decor. The service and food were so excellent that I am here for the second night in a row during my trip to Atlanta. Donnie was particularly excellent. Just having moved from Europe, the wine menu and food warmed my heart. They also have a patio that’s awesome to enjoy a few glasses of wine.

Bistro Niko was wonderful. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. French onion soup here is the best. They start preparing it at 6:00 am. There is a richness and depth to the flavor. I know this is odd, but the butter for the bread is so creamy it almost tastes like whipped cream. On to the entree, we had steak au poivre and the lamb. The steak could not have been cooked more perfectly. However, it had too much peppercorn for me (this is the way the dish was supposed to be prepared, nothing wrong, just not my preference). If you love that boldness of cracked pepper this is your dish. Overall a wonderful experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. From the fresh warm bread, to the French onion soup, to the steamed mussels I had, which were cooked in a very flavorful broth and the scallops my husband had that were very tender, everything was wonderful. The ambience was very pretty in this restaurant. Would definitely eat here again!!
